Polyacrylamide
(Short for PAM) (High Molecular Flocculant)
1) Product introduction:
Polyacrylamide is a kind of water-solubility line High Molecular Flocculant. Acoridng to the charge, it can be divided into 3 kinds of Ployacrylameide: Anionic type(FA), cationic type(FC) and non-ionic type(FN). Acoording to the function and the charge density, it can be used as Cogulabts, Retention, Dewatering Agents and agglutinates Floculants etc. When adds the sumifioc high molecular flocculant in the aerosol muddy granule water, accompanying with the electric property’s Neutralization and the adsorption and bridging fuction of the molecular, it can make the suspended substance quickly agglutinating and subsiding to come to the effects of separation and clarification. So it could enhance the operation efficiency and reduce the cost.
2) Usage and Confection:
The High molecular flocculants Ployacrylameide is mainly used in the treatment of drinking water, various kinds of industrial discharging waste water, city waste water, oil well projects, sugar-making and paper-making industry etc. the best suitable Ployacrylameide type will be choosen according to the condition of treatment system and the quality of the water. The solid product need to be dissolved in the water and be confected to the spare water solution of a certain density and then put up to use, this could make the products rapidly exert the effect. Among the water solution of the products, the density of the FC series is 0.2%; the density of FA and FN series is 0.1%. the storage life of the spare water solution is 5 days, so the water solution should be confected when need to use. When it is used as the Flocculant, the dosage usually is 1~10PMM(according to the suspended substance)
3) Remarks:
1. The confection of water solution FC, FA and FN series Ployacrylameide need to be operated in the enamel, galvanizing, aluminium or plastic cask., this process could not be operated or stored in the iron-made container.
2. The solid product should be slowly and evenly put into to solution container with heating and mixing round and should avoid coagulating big block in the water. So it would be better dissolved, the solution should be confected under room terperature, or else that would lead the Polymers degradation and reduce the use effects.
3. The FC, FA and FN series Ployacrylameide adapt a wide PH range of 4.0~11.0.
